The speed of movement of ions in the water is dependent on the size of the hydrated ion. Larger is the size of the hydrated ion, slower will be the movement in water.
A smaller ion undergoes extensive solvation i.e. they get surrounded by water molecules. This mechanism decreases the movement of ions. Thus, the order of ions will be :
Li+<Na+<Rb+<Cs+
