Solution

Solution:

Distance covered by car A in one hour = 50 km
Distance covered by car A in half an hour
= 50 km ÷2= 25 km
Distance covered by car A in 3 hours
= 50 km+ 50 km+ 50 km = 150 km .
Total distance covered by the car A in 312 hours
= 150 km +25 = 175 km
Distance covered by car B in one hour = 56 km
Distance covered by car B in half an hour
= 56 km÷2= 28 km
Distance covered by car A in 3 hours
= 56 km+ 56 km+ 56 km = 168 km .
Total distance covered by the car B in 312 hours = 168 km +28 = 196 km
In 312 hours car A and car B travels a distance of 175 km and 196 km respectively.
Car B covered more distance. Difference of distances in between them = 196 km - 175 km = 21 km
