The way to solve this is simply assigning integers to k
for a)3k+1
If k=1 it becomes for which is a square of 2
Likewise in C)5k+1
Assigning k=1,2,3..
At 3, 5*3+1=16 which is square of 4. Hence the answer is b which is 4k+2
