Solution
The correct option is D Sporozoite Sporozoites develop in mosquito during sporogony and are injected into host's blood along with saliva. Sporozoites are slender and sickle-shaped bodies having tapering ends and a broad middle part containing a single nucleus. The anterior end of sporozoites is the apical cup, made up of 3 or more concentric polar rings, into which open the secretory paired organelles (micronemes, rhoptries, and dense granules). During hepatocyte invasion, microneme fuse to the neck of the rhoptry to discharge their content. Rhoptry proteins play key roles downstream of parasite entry into the host cell.
