The cycle of erosion by rivers is called normal cycle of erosion because of the fact that fluvial processes are most widespread and most geomorphic agent.This cycle of erosion passes through three stages:
The Youthful stage.
The Mature stage .
The old Stage.
The origin of some of the rivers are as:
Jhelum :Pir Panjal Range.
Ganga :origin in the Western Himalayan Ranges in the state of Uttarakhand.
