ii) Formalin is an example of a disinfectant. It is a chemical that are used to kill bacteria.

(iii) Fossil fuel is mainly responsible for the formation of acid rain. Burning of fossil fuel causes acid rain.

(iv) Sulphadiazine is an example of sulphonamide.

(v) Cretinism is caused due to deficiency of Thyroxine. It is is characterized by short and stocky stature due to hypothyroidism since infancy or childhood.
