Cerebrum:

  1. The cerebrum is the largest part of the brain and it is part of hind brain.
  2. The cerebrum is divided into two cerebral hemispheres which is covered by thin layer of grey matter known as cerebral cortex.
  3. This cerebral cortex is folded in the form of convolutions and grooves which are called the gyri and the sulci respectively.
  4. The number of gyri is directly linked to the intelligence of a person, the more gyri, the more intelligent a person is.

Hence, Gyri and sulci are the folds of cerebrum.
