Solution

Ranga is against early marriage, he also does not believe in astrology. But, he ends up marrying a young girl seemingly after listening to an astrologer's predictions. In reality, he falls in love with the beautiful Ratna and her melodious voice. the narrator makes the astrologer read the stars in a particular way only to trap Ranga into marrying Ratna. But, that prediction is acceptable to Ranga only because he has already lost his heart to the innocent Ratna. Love and trust in one's love are underlying themes of this story.
