The correct option is B rhombus
We have,
(ymx)2=a2(1+m2) and (ynx)2=a2(1+n2)
ymx=±a1+m2 and ynx=±a1+n2
y=mx±a1+m2 and y=nx±a1+n2
Thus, the equations of the lines represented by the given equations are
y=mx+a1+m2 ...(i)
y=mxa1+m2 ...(ii)
y=nx+a1+n2 ...(iii)
y=nxa1+n2 ...(iv)

Clearly, lines (i) and (ii) are parallel and the distance between them is given by
d1=a1+m2+a1+m21+m2=|2a|
Similarly, lines (iii) and (iv) are parallel and the distance between them is given by
d2=a1+n2+a1+n21+n2=|2a|
Clearly, d1=d2

Hence the lines (i),(ii),(iii) and (iv) form a rhombus.
