Calculate elasticity of wires
As given in situation,
stress is along x−axis and strain are along x−axis which is generally opposite to each other because stress is along
y axis and strain is along x axis. Therefore,
but due to opposition it is Y=cot θ
i.e., Y=1/tan θ
Therefore, elasticity of 𝑃 is minimum and for 𝑅 is maximum.
