From the diagram, we observe:
There is 1 space between 2 trees.
There are 2 spaces between 3 trees.
There are 3 spaces between 4 trees and so on.

So, number of spaces for 51 trees = 51 1 = 50

Total distance = 200 yards

We know:
200÷50=4

The distance between any two trees is 4 yards.
