Solution

The correct option is C Nuptial pads
Amplexus is the phenomenon in which the male frog uses the nuptial pads (copulation pads) to apply pressure on the abdomen of the female frog. The nuptial pads are present on the inner finger of each hand of the male frog. The pressure exerted by the male frog using the nuptial or copulation pads stimulates the female frog to release the ova, through the cloaca.
The small bone present between the nasal septum and maxilla in the frog is called septomaxilla. The circular structure present behind the eyes of the frogs, that help them in hearing is called tympanum.
