The substance which has greater ability to raise its temperature has less capacity to store heat and the substance which has less ability to raise its temperature has more capacity to store heat. Is the given statement true or false? Justify.

Given statement is true.
Substance which has less specific heat capacity means that for elevation of unit temperature it will need less heat than that of one which has more specific heat capacity. If equal amount of heat is supplied to both the substances, then the substance with less specific heat capacity would result in more increase in temperature than that of substance which has more specific heat capacity.
