The sum of first n terms of arithmetic series formula can be written as,
Sn=n2[2a+(n1)d] ............ (1)
n= number of terms =10
Sn=100
First term, a=1
Common difference, d=?
From (1), we have
100=102[2×1+(101)d]
100=5[2+9d]
100=10+45d
10010=45d
90=45d
d=9045=2
The common difference is 2.
