The correct option is B -24 The given series S can be divided into two sub-series S1 and S2 where S1=1,4,7,10.. and S2=−3,−6,−9,... 24 terms of S would consist of first 12 terms of S1 and first 12 terms of S2 ∴ Sum of S= Sum of S1+ Sum of S2
So using sum of A.P formula Sn=n2(2a+(n−1)d) =122(2×1+11×3)+122(2×−3+11×−3) =210−234=−24
