Answer :

Let first even number = 2x ,

So, Second even number = 2x + 2

And

Third even number = 2x + 4

And from given information we get

2x + 2x + 2 + 2x + 4 = 72

6x + 6 = 72

6 x = 66

x = 11

So,

Our three consecutive even numbers = 22 , 24 and 26 ( Ans )
