Let ABC be a triangle.

Through point A draw the line EFBC.
ABC=EAB ....[ Alternate interior angles ]

BCA=FAC ....[ Alternate interior angles ]

EAB+BAC+FAC=180o ....[ Linear pairs ].

By substituting EAB=ABC and FAC=BCA

ABC+CAB+ACB=180o.
