The sum of the acute angles of an obtuse triangle is 70° and their difference is 10°.Find the bigger acute angle.

let on angle be x and the other angle be y
then from the question
x+y=70.......(1)
x-y=10.........(2)
(1)+(2)=>2x=80
x=80/2=40
y=70-40=30
bigger acute angle is 40
