Solution

Let Sn denotes the sum of first n terms of the AP.
Sn=3n22+5n2Sn-1=3n-122+5n-12 =3n2-2n+12+5n-12 =3n2-n-22

∴ nth term of the AP, an
=Sn-Sn-1=3n2+5n2-3n2-n-22=6n+22=3n+1

Putting n = 25, we get

a25=3×25+1=75+1=76

Hence, the nth term is (3n + 1) and 25th term is 76.
