Solution

Let the savings and income be 3x , 7x, and 8x respectively.
3x + 7x + 8x = 18x
18x = ₹12,24,000
x = ₹68,000
Income of Mac = 7 × 68,000 = ₹4,76,000
Savings of Mac = 15% of 4,76,000 = 15100×4,76,000 = ₹71,400
Income of Ankit = 8×68,000 = ₹5,44,000
Savings of Ankit = 10% of 5,44,000 = 10100×5,44,000 = ₹54,400.
Combined savings of Mac and Ankit = ₹71,400 + ₹54,400 = ₹1,25,800
