Solution

It is given that the sum of the lengths of all the edges of a cube is 6 cm and we know that a cube has 12 edges, therefore, the side of the cube is:

s=612=12=0.5

Now, the volume of the cube is s3 where s is the side of the cube. Thus, with side 0.5 cm, the volume of the cube is:

V=s3=(0.5)3=0.125 cm3

Hence, the volume of the cube is 0.125 cm3.
