Let the fraction is $\frac{x}{y}$
According to question,
$x+y=15$ .....(i)
and
$y=2x+3$
$\Rightarrow 2x-y=-3$ ....(ii)
On adding (i) and (ii). we get,
$x+y+2x-y=15-3$
$\Rightarrow 3x=12$
$\Rightarrow x=4$
Substitute the $x=4$ in (i). we get,
$4+y=15$
$\Rightarrow y=11$
$\therefore$ fraction is $\frac{4}{11}$
