Let father's present age and son's present age be x and y respectively,

Given that x + y = 60 ------> (1)

Six years ago, father's age was x-6 and son's age was y-6
Given that (x6)=5×(y6)x6=5y30
5y - x = 24 -------> (2)
Adding (1) and (2)
6y = 60 + 24
y = 14
Son's present age is 14, so after 6 years, son's age will be 20.
