Let the two positive consecutive even numbers be x and x+2

x2+(x+2)2=100x2+2x48=0(x6)(x+8)=0x=6and8

since x=8 can't be possible because in question it is already mention that the numbers be positive even

x=6

Hence two positive consecutive even numbers are 6 and 8
