$x^2+{(x+2)}^2=100\Rightarrow x^2+2x-48=0\Rightarrow (x-6)(x+8)=0\Rightarrow x=6and-8$

since $x=-8$ can't be possible because in question it is already mention that the numbers be positive even

$\therefore x=6$

Hence two positive consecutive even numbers are $6$ and $8$
