Let three consecutive numbers be n-2, n and n+2

The sum of three consecutive odd numbers is:

n - 2 + n + n + 2 = 300

3n = 300

n = 300 ÷ 3

n = 100

n-2 = 100-2 = 98

n+2 = 100+2 = 102

The three consecutive even numbers in sequence are 98, 100 and 102.

Thus, the largest number in sequence is 102.
