The correct option is A 4, 6
If ‘x’ is a number, then ‘2x’ is an even number.
The consecutive even numbers will be 2x + 2.

Given: Sum of two consecutive even numbers = 10
Therefore, 2x + 2x + 2 = 10
4x + 2 = 10

If x = 1 , 4x+2=4×1+2=6
If x = 2 , 4x+2=4×2+2=8+2=10 (LHS = RHS)

Hence, x = 2 holds good for the equation.
So, the first even number =2x=2×2=4
And, the second even number = The first number + 2 = 4 + 2 = 6
