Given $8\%$ of $x$ is $12\%$ of $y$

$⟹\frac{8}{100}x=\frac{12}{100}y$

$⟹2x=3y⟹x=\frac{3y}{2}$

And also Sum of two numbers is $3000$

$⟹x+y=3000$

$⟹\frac{3y}{2}+y=3000$

$⟹\frac{5y}{2}=3000$

$⟹y=1200⟹x=\frac{3\times 1200}{2}=1800$

The numbers are $1200,1800$
