Let the numbers are x and y

$\Rightarrow x+y=40$

$xy=375$

Sum of reciprocals$=\frac{1}{x}+\frac{1}{y}=\frac{y+x}{xy}$

$=\frac{40}{375}$

$=\frac{8}{75}$.
