The sum of two number is 625. If two times the first number is equal to three times the second number, then find the obsolute difference of the two numbers.

The correct option is C 125
Let the first number be x and the second number be y.
x+y=625 ….(i)
And 2x=3y

x=32y ….(ii)
Substituting (ii) in (i), we get,

32y+y=625

5y2=625

x=375

y=23x=23×375=250

x=375,y=250

The required difference =125.

माना कि पहली संख्या x और दूसरी संख्या y है।
x + y = 625 ...... (i)
और 2x = 3y ............. (ii)
समीकरण (i) और (ii) से,
x = 375, y = 250
अत: अपेक्षित अंतर = 125
