Solution

The correct option is A 10

Given that,

The sum of two numbers is 22. Five times one number is equal to 6 times the other.

Now,

Let, the required number are x and y

According to the question,

The sum of two numbers is 22,

x+y=22 …….(1)

Five times one number is equal to 6 times the other,

5x=6y …..(2)

From equation 1st,

5(22y)=6y

1105y=6y

11y=110

y=10

Put, the value of y in equation 1st,

10+x=22

x=12

Hence, this is the answer.
