Let the two numbers be $x$ and $y$

According to question

$x+y=43....\left(i\right)$

$x-y=13....\left(ii\right)$

Adding equation $\left(i\right)$ and $\left(ii\right)$ we get

$2x=56$

$x=28....\left(iii\right)$

Putting this value in equation $\left(i\right)$ we get

$y=43-x=43-28$

$x=28,y=15$
