The sum of two opposite angles of a parallelogram is 140°. Find all the angles of the parallelogram.

Open in App
Solution

Solution -: In a parallelogram , opposite angles are equal to each other .

Say each opposite angle be x

Sum of both angles is 140
x+x= 140
2x= 140
x= 140/2
x= 70 degrees.
Also sum of adjacent angles always equal to 180 in a parallelgram, suppose other opposite angle be y each.
70 + y = 180 ( supplementary angles)

y= 180-70
y= 110 degrees

So angles are 70, 70 , 110 and 110 .Answer
