Let mothers age be $3 x$ and son's age be $2 x$
According to the question
$3 x + 5 + 2 x + 5 = 90$
$5 x = 90 - 10$
$5 x = 80$
$x = \frac{80}{5}$
$x = 16$
$3 x = 3 \times 16 = 48$
$2 x = 2 \times 16 = 32$
Therefore mother's age is $48$ years and son's is $32$ years
