Dear student,
The sun appears slightly larger in the sky during march , it means that during march earth is close to sun.
Now we know that angular momentum is conserved in (earth + sun ) system.
so mvr =constant (where r is the distance between the sun and earth)
since the mass of earth is constant, so we can write
vr= constant.
Now during march , r decreases. In order to keep the product "vr" to be constant "v" should increase.
Hence we can say that the earth travels faster during the month of March.
