Solution

The correct option is B Non luminous object
A source of light is a body that emits light in all possible directions. There are two types of sources:
1. Luminous sources of light: Objects which emit their own light.
Examples : Sun, torch, candle etc.
2. Non luminous sources of light : Objects which do not emit light but become visible only when light from luminous objects falls on them.
Example: Table, book, wall etc.

Bioluminescence : The production or emission of light by a living organism as a result of some chemical energy getting converted into light energy is called bioluminescence.
Example: Fireflies

We know that luminous objects emit their own light but non luminous objects do not emit their own light but infact reflect the light from luminous objects. So they are called reflectors of light. Moon does not have its own light, it receives light from the sun and then reflects back. So it is a non luminous object.
