Given: Cylindrical box has surface area A=132 mm2 and height h=4 mm

We know surface area of cylinder is A=2πr(r+h)

Thus, 132=2×227×r(r+4)

132=447r(r+4)

132×7=44r(r+4)

924=44r2+176r

44r2+176r924=0

r2+4r21=0

r2+7r3r21=0

r(r+7)3(r+7)=0

r+7=0,r3=0

r=7,r=3

Hence, the radius of the cylindrical box is 3 mm.
