The following are responsible for shift the equilibrium to the right.
I. Increasing the temperature
The positive value of the enthalpy change indicates endothermic reaction. When temperature is increased, the system will absorb the heat and shift the equilibrium to products so, that the effect of increase in temperature is nullified.
III. Increasing the pressure on the system
Number of moles of gaseous reactants is more than the number of moles of gaseous products.
When pressure is increased, the system will shift in the forward direction (towards lesser number of moles of gaseous species) so, that the effect of increased pressure is nullified.
The following is responsible for shift the equilibrium to the left.
II. Decreasing the temperature.
When temperature is decreased, the system will absorb the heat and shift the equilibrium to reactants so, that the effect of decrease in temperature is nullified.
