A=[1202]and B=[01]

[sIA]=[s00s][1202]

=[s+120s2]

[sIA]1 = [s220s+1](s+1)(s2) ....(1)

Transfer function=C[sIA]1B

So denominator of equation (i) gives poles of the system.

(s+1)(s-2) = 0

s = -1 and 2

One pole lies in RHS of s-plane. Hence, the so, system is unstable.

For controllability, Qc is defined as

Qc = [B : AB]

AB=[1202][01]=[22]

Qc = [B : AB]

= [0212]

|Qc|0

Hence the system is controllable.
