Finding the missing value

Given that, the table represents a linear function.

So, y value increases constantly.

First value and third value is given. This mean second value must be average of first and third as it is increased by same constant value.

Therefore, missing value is,

=2.80+5.602=8.42=4.2

Hence, the missing y value is 4.2.
