From the above diagram, we can see a well-defined one-to-one mapping from the domain {1,2,3,4} onto the range {$10,$18,$24,$28}.

Hence, the ordered pairs are (1,10)(2,18)(3,24)(4,28).

We know a relation is a function only if it relates each element in its domain (input) to only one element in the range (output).

Here, each input has exactly one output. Then relation is a function.

Hence, the cost of the number of T-shirts purchased is a function.
