The correct option is C

The length of the tangent is given as 15cm. The distance of the point from the centre of the circle is given as 12cm. So by Pythagoras theorem,

(12)2+(r)2=(15)2.

r2=225144=121

r =11cm.

Hence, the radius was found out to be 11cm.
