Suppose, C1 is Celsius scale is equal to F1 in Fahrenheit scale and C2 is Celsius scale is equal to F2 in Fahrenheit scale. So using the conversion formula we can get,
ΔC=59×ΔF ; where ΔC=C1C2 and ΔF=F1F2
Using this formula, 40 rise in temperature on Celsius scale is equal to 72oF increase on Fahrenheit scale.
