Average spacing is given by
S=0.278×40×0.7=7.78 m
Average c/c spacing =7.78+6=13.78 m
Density of vehicles=100013.78=72.569 (vehicle/km)
Theoretical capacity(q)=kv
=72.569×40
=2902.762903 vehicle/hr
