Let three A.M. between - 2 and 10 be A₁, A₂ and A₃.

5^th term = 10 = -2 + (5 – 1)d

⇒ 12 - 4d ⇒ d – 3

A₁ = -2 + 3 = 1, A₂ = -2 + 2(3) = 4 and A₃ = -2 + 3(3) = 7

Thus, three A.M. between -2 and 10 are 1, 4 and 7.
