Solution
Ear ossicles
Ear is divisible into the external, middle, and internal ear.
Middle ear consists of three ossicles known as the malleus, stapes, and incus that are linked to one another in a chain pattern. The malleus (hammer-shaped bone) is linked to the tympanic membrane.
The incus (anvil shape) transmits vibrations from the malleus to the stapes.
The stapes (stirrup-shaped bone) are linked to the oval window of the cochlea.
