Maximum in vessel C


Equal volume of liquid is poured in A, B and C given that base area is equal and you know,

V=A×h

i.e., volume = area × height

as is C, the height gradually reduces, therefore the height of water column is maximum in C.and you know, pressure at the base will be

P=P0+pgh

Where P0 = Atmospheric pressure

Therefore the force on the base will be maximum in vessel 'C'
