Mangrove forests also known as Tidal forests are swampy and wet in nature and it comprises both salty and fresh water. These can survive in tidal regions also. These forests are also known as Sunderban Forests in west bengal. The Sundarban termed is coined by 'Sundari trees" mainly found in these forests.
