The Earth takes 24 hours to complete the one rotation that means it takes 24 hours to complete 360°.
360° is covered in = 24 hours(1440 minutes)
1° is covered in = (24x60)/360 or (1440/360)= 4 minutes
In this way, 1° is covered in 4 minutes
Thus 10 longitudes mean 10° will be covered in =10 x 4= 40 minutes.
