Frequency is given as the reciprocal of time period.

That is,

Frequency, f = 1Time period

So for, Time period 0.02 s,

f=10.02 Hz = 50 Hz
The number of oscillations per second is called the frequency of oscillation.

A frequency of 50 Hz is 50 oscillations per second. i.e. in 1 second, the number of oscillations is 50.

So, in 5 seconds the number of oscillations will be

= 50 ×5 = 250.
