We know that, T=2πIMB.

When it is cut into four parts along length & breadth
M=M4

& new I=112(m4)(L2)2=I16

Where m is the mass of the bar magnet.

Hence, T=2π  I16×M4B=T2

So, (C) is the correct answer.
